The 2014 Amgen Tour of California was the ninth running of the Tour of California cycling stage race. It was held from May 11–18, and rated as a 2.HC event on the UCI America Tour. It began in Sacramento and finished in Thousand Oaks.
This year’s world-class peloton includes talents like 2012 Tour de France winner Bradley Wiggins (Team Sky), Taylor Phinney and Thor Hushovd (BMC Racing), Janier Acevedo (Garmin-Sharp), Tom Boonen and Mark Cavendish (Omega Pharma-QuickStep), Jens Voigt (Trek Factory Racing), Adam Yates (Orica-GreenEdge) and Peter Sagan (Cannondale).
